Greetings and Happy Remote sensing day to all!

For those who aren’t familiar with what ‘remote sensing’ is? Then it is the acquisition of information about an object or phenomenon without making physical contact with the object and thus in contrast to on-site observation, especially the Earth. Every 12th of August is celebrated as ‘National Remote Sensing Day’ in India, to celebrate the legacy of the great visionary, Dr.Vikram Sarabhai, who is popularly known as the Father of the Indian Space Program.
